Tuesday, September 24th, 4pm to 10pm. Save Massachusetts Wildlife Education Fund (SMWEF) fundraiser at American Flatbread in Davis Square, Somerville. Save Arlington Wildlife founder Laura Kiesel will be throwing a fundraiser at American Flatbread. On this evening, a % of any pizzas purchased between 4pm and 10pm will go toward SMWEF ($2 per small pizza pie and $4 for any large pizza pies). From 6pm to 9pm, SMWEF will have a table there with information and will run a ticket raffle with fun prizes! American Flatbread is located at 45 Day Street in Somerville. Wednesday, September 25th, 7pm – 9:30pm – Town of Arlington Environmental Leadership Summit at Arlington Town Hall. This summit includes representatives from different green groups working in Arlington to solve help meet different environmental challenges impacting our town. Laura Kiesel will be presenting and on a panel to represent Save Arlington Wildlife.
Tuesday, October 22nd from 6:30pm to 8:30pm – Mystic River Water Association (MyRWA) Annual Meeting – Save Arlington Wildlife founder Laura Kiesel will be receiving MyRWA’s prestigious Ripple Award, which celebrates environmental advocates and organizations that have a ripple effect on the watershed and in the state of Massachusetts!
